US
Pauline and Gordon moved from their sheep farm in South
Canterbury to Menagerie Boarding Kennels and Cattery
in November 1999.

Greer in the Cottage |
Pauline has had more than forty years experience with
dogs including limited breeding, showing, obedience and
agility training and has also been an obedience instructor.
Initially, she worked in a large boarding facility for
someone else, before deciding she would like to have her
own boarding business.
Gordon is a retired farmer, having worked for over
forty years farming sheep, cattle and pigs.
The couple share their home with two standard Poodles
Ice and Yohji and also four pet parrots, Corkie - a
pink and grey Galah, who usually greets the customers
as they arrive with ‘hello’, Wizard –
a male King Parrot, Suzie - a yellow Indian Ring Neck
and Fozzie - the cheeky Lorikeet.
They share the responsibilities at Menagerie, Gordon
with the cats, of whom he has a great affinity and Pauline
with the dogs, birds and any other little critters staying
at Menagerie.
Pauline also offers hydrobathing and occasional trimming
services by appointment only.

FACILITIES
Menagerie has facilities for boarding
just about any pet you own.
- 50 medium and large dog kennels, with several large
grassed exercise areas. Photos
of the dog kennels and exercise areas.
- Two cottages for small dogs who like company, also
with grassed runs.
- A cattery which is completely separate from the
dog kennels, providing a more relaxed space, with
sunny exercise areas, completely enclosed and escape
proof.
We also cater for birds in their
cages, rodents in cages and even fish!!

We are open 7 days a week (except
for Christmas Day)
- Our hours are:
- 8:00am – 10:30am
and
- 4:00pm – 6.00pm.

VACCINATION
CARDS
ALL
ANIMALS MUST HAVE CURRENT VACCINATIONS UP TO DATE AND
THE CARDS MUST BE PROVIDED TO US WHEN BRINGING YOUR
PET TO STAY.
These cards will be
returned to the owners at the time of collection
